Views

Finding and Selecting a View

Views can be selected in two different ways. See the highlighted box along the top of the table, where you can select any of the different views. Views can also be selected from the ‘Views’ menu pull down in the top left corner of the table. See the screenshot below.

Changing the Columns in a View

The columns in the views can be modified by adding or removing them. As seen in the screenshots below you can modify a view by either right-clicking on a column and select ‘Change Columns’ or right-click on the view and selecting ‘Update’.

After selecting one of these options, the update view window will appear where you manipulate the view and add or remove columns to the selected view.

Creating New Views

New views can easily be created to contain the metrics you want to see together. The create option is available in two locations, see screenshots below. You can right-click on any view and select ‘Create’.

The other option is you can click on the Views menu pull down and select ‘Create’.

Renaming, Copying and Deleting Views

Any of the views can by renamed, copied, or deleted. In the screenshots below the different methods are displayed. One option is available by selecting the Views pull down menu.

Reordering Views

Views can be reordered so the views can be rearranged to meet the user’s needs. Reordering views can be done by either using the Drag and Drop method or selecting the ‘Reorder Views’ menu option.

The Drag and Drop method can be down by clicking on the view name and holding and moving the view to the new spot.

The reorder menu option is available in two locations, see screenshots below. You can right-click on any view and select ‘Reorder Views’.

The other option is you can click on the Views menu pull down and select ‘Reorder Views’ from under View Options.

After selecting ‘Reorder Views’ the list of views will appear, as seen below. Here is where you can select the views you want to move and then use the arrows to move the views into the desired order.

Browsing the Library for new Views

Stock Rover has a library and this library contains different views. The views can be browsed and then imported as one of your views. In the screenshot below you can see the option to browse the library.

Once in the library you can scroll thru the different views and select the ones you want to import.

Importing and Exporting Views

All views can be exported to a .txt file and shared with other Stock Rover users or used as a backup copy. To export a view, right-click on the view tab and select ‘Export’. To import a Stock Rover view, right-click on the view and select ‘Import’ then browse to the file.

Create a Custom Metric

Custom metrics can be created and added to any of your views. As seen in the screenshots below you can create a custom metric by right-clicking on a view and selecting ‘Create Custom Metric’ .
